Pascal BONNET

Pascal BONNET graduated from the CNSMD of Paris (National Superior Conservatory) in saxophone, chamber music and pedagogy. He has won several awards in national competitions and, in 2006, won the international saxophone competition of Dinant (Belgium) where he won several interpretive prizes, including one for Luciano Berio's sequenza IXb.

With a particular interest in interpreting the music of his time, Pascal Bonnet devotes a large part of his time to musical creation. Through his career he was able to participate in the creation of many pieces and to be in contact with some composers in the future, including a close collaboration with composers of the composition curriculum of the IRCAM, thus accentuating his knowledge of the composition techniques most advances

Pascal BONNET performs solo with piano or orchestra, and is also a founding member of Ensemble Squillante, formed in 2006. Regularly invited to play throughout Europe, Ensemble Squillante created in 2008 the International Saxophone Workshop "Villa of Montefrio "in Spain.

Also an orchestral musician, he is invited to perform with the Orchestre de l'Opéra de Paris, l’Orchestre National de France, l’Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire ...
Pascal Bonnet is now soloist of the Orchestre d'Harmonie de la Police Nationale and Professor at the Conservatoire du 13ème arrondissement de Paris
